FOREHEAD BEAUTY!

Hello people.... Welcome back...
Hahaha, it reminds of the new Bollywood movie 'Welcome back' starring Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and John Abraham. It would fit in some of the perfect Bollywood masala movies, good timepass...had fun. Anil Kapoor looks amazing. I think I never told you that I am a huge Bollywood fan... I enjoy each and every movie... Hahaha..
Well! coming back to the topic. Today I'll be talking about Forehead jewellery. It is a beautiful ornament. It has always been my favourite. You know, during my childhood days, I was crazy about Maangtikkas. Heroines wearing maangtikkas attracted me so much. I used to make maangtikkas out of flowers and even mom's accessories. Mom's loombas  (rakhis for sister in law) looked beautiful as maangtikkas. Childhood days were so amazing. But they never come back :(
Well! we will talk about my childhood some other time.

Back to the topic, forehead jewellery has been an important part of our Indian culture since ancient times...The centre of the forehead i.e between the eyebrows is also known as Ajna Chakra or Third Eye. It energises the pituitary gland and is also important for the endocrine and nervous system. It is believed that this chakra helps us to attain higher spiritual energy.

Apart from its spiritual impact, forehead jewellery has an aesthetic effect also.
Today we will take a look at the various forehead ornaments.

MAANTIKKAS- Maangtikka is a beautiful piece jewellery worn by an Indian bride. It accentuates the beauty of the bride. The maang is a stringed portion that lays flat between the parting of the hair. And the tikka is the jeweled part that sits on the forehead.
Maantikka can be worn in various styles. It is known by various other names in India such as Borla in Rajasthan, neeti chutti in South India, and Chirri tikka in Himachal Pradesh.

BEAUTIFUL POLKI MAANGTIKKA
MAATHA PATTI- Maatha Patti ia another variation of Maangtikka.  In this, the Tikka lies in the centre of the forehead and is held by chains on both the sides. It is so much in trend these days. Most of the brides today are opting for such Maatha pattis.  Even the models are seen wearing it these days. It looks both traditional and stylish.

POLKI MAATHA PATTI LOOKS LOVELY

JHOOMAR- Jhoomar is another type of forehead jewellery worn by muslim girls. In this, the tikka lies on one side of the head. It looks lovely and worn mostly on the left side. As per latest tradition, Jhoomar can also be worn in the centre like the Maangtikka.

GIRLS LOVE PINK!

Hello Diamond Lovers...how are you?
I hope you all are having a great time.
It has been so long since my last post. I missed it a lot, was actually little busy with my CAD classes[Computer Aided Designing] and our jewellery showroom is also opening very soon. And I am so excited...yeeeaaahhh.
And now I am back with greater energy and research regarding jewellery.

SO LETS BEGIN!!!
Girls love PINK, whether it is clothes, accessories, shoes, toys etc etc. It looks very pretty and classy.
I am also a PINK lover. My wardrobe is filled with pink. According to me, other than just being beautiful, pink also symbolizes love, feelings. desires and calmness. And these days even boys have started putting pink. Guys are seen wearing pink shirts, formal suits and watches.
Well! you people might be thinking, why am I talking about the colour pink in a jewellery blog...??
Because today I'll be talking about PINK GOLD.
Jewellery is taking on a rosy glow these days. Pink gold also know as rose gold is back in fashion.
Oh! let me tell you, rose gold was also in trend during the 1970's and 80's. I and some of you were not even born then. But at that time rose gold was darker. And today its back with a softer and lighter blush.

WHAT IS PINK GOLD???
Rose gold or pink gold doesn't occur in nature, but is actually a mixture of pure yellow gold and copper alloy. So, people who use the term 'pure pink gold' is inaccurate.Pink gold is priced because of its shade. The highest carat version of Pink gold is 22K, which is also known as Crown gold.

Pink gold is catching the attention of the young generation. It is new and something different in fashion jewellery. Pink gold looks amazing with diamonds and enhances jewellery, also is a must in your jewellery wardrobe.
Pink Gold is also catching the attention of the brides these days, who are choosing it for their engagement rings.
Today even the APPLE watches are available in Pink gold and I also read that I phone 6S will be
launched in pink gold colour this year. See, technology is also getting pink now, hehehehe.

So girls, what are you waiting for??? Bring home a piece of Pink gold jewellery. I am sure you would love it......
